First time organising a summit? We've developed a course to help you get up and running fast.
HeySummit is great at hosting and managing your online summits. However, it can also be used for your weekly webinars, video content and more. Essentially if you have content you want to deliver through video then HeySummit is for you. We help you build a community around your content, increase signup rates, drive referrals and crucially turn your video content into a part of your long-term content marketing strategy.
A Host is someone (usually) from your team that is going to host and introduce a speaker at your summit or host a webinar or video content. If you require more than one summit, webinar or video content host then you may need one of the larger plans.
An Attendee is someone that has registered to attend one of your webinars or summits.
Absolutely not! It's entirely your choice. Typically if you're hosting weekly / monthly webinars then you will probably want to keep those free to increase the volume of overall registrations. On the other hand, if you are running an online summit or video content then you may want to consider a paid model. Again, this really depends on how you want to market and present your content and whether you want to make money from it.
Sure thing! We ran a 2 week, 100+ conference for free which proved hugely popular. HeySummit helped us onboard 12 sponsors, 100+ speakers and over 3,000 attendees.
In short, yes. HeySummit helps you build a community and traction around your webinars, summits and video content. To deliver the actual webinar you will need to use one of the many available video conferencing products out there. HeySummit currently supports Zoom and BigMarker, with more integrations in the pipeline.
HeySummit supports Wistia, YouTube and Vimeo so you will need to have existing accounts with one of these in order to use HeySummit. In the future, we plan to provide video hosting directly within the HeySummit platform.
Any payments we take on your behalf (i.e. if you are looking to charge for a webinar, summit or some other video content) will be handled by Stripe.
Yes, you can sign up as a partner. Or if you'd like to speak with us first pop us an email to hello@heysummit.com.
In HeySummit, an Event is a collection of talks. This could be a webinar campaign (either one-off or ongoing), an online summit or a video course. On the Basic plan, you can only have one of these running at any given time.
For example, if you are running a weekly webinar series for your business through HeySummit that would count as one active event. If you wanted to host an online summit in addition to your Webinar series, you would either need to turn off your webinar series or upgrade to the Professional plan where you can have up to 3 Events running at any given time. The Business plan lets you run up to 10 at any given time.
It's worth noting, that an event is deemed active when it is open for registrations. So in the case of a Summit, it is active whilst the summit is running. Once the summit has finished, it moves from an active to a non-active status. The replays will remain open but registrations will be closed for obvious reasons. An Event in the non-active status does not count towards your active Event count.
