I got my first camera when I was 8 years old and from that point I was determined to learn how to create an image that looked like what I envisioned in my mind.
After completing my second degree at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, I stayed in California to become a commercial food photographer and worked with ad agencies, design firms, book publishers, magazines and various brands and companies.
In 2010 I started Food Photography Blog and started doing in person workshops and in 2016 migrated my education programs online with my membership site Food Photography Club where I teach everything about food photography and how to run a food photography business. I love teaching and helping foodies perfect their passion for food photography.
