A forth-generation Oregonian, Donovan has penned hundreds of articles dealing in Black history, gentrification, police, social justice and art. He was recently featured as a co-writer on the 10-part audio-documentary "Uprising: a Guide from Portland" detailing the 100+ days of protest in Portland -- the series was downloaded 2.5 million times and cracked the iTunes 100.
