Filip Perkon

Filip Perkon is the founder of venture capital firm, Bamboo Venture Partners, and production company, Perkon Productions. He splits his time between his investment activities and organising cultural-philanthropic events. In 2016, he founded the Russian Film Week and the Golden Unicorn Awards, that have now become the most prominent Russian themed film event and awards outside Russia. In the past, he founded several startups in social media and marketing, was a partner at Synergy Innovations Venture Fund and worked in BNP Paribas Investment Bank. He is a keen event organiser, having produced more than 10 international business forums and three concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo and Royal Albert Hall, becoming one of the youngest rock concert producers in UK. After attending Winchester College and Gordonstoun School, he graduated with an MSc Comparative Politics and BSc Economics from the London School of Economics. He is passionate about Art and everything to do with the sea including Sailing, Scuba and Windsurfing. Filip is a member of Sandbox community and World Economic Forum Global Shapers, two global organizations for young and entrepreneurial leaders.
