Nicholas Paul Brysiewicz is Director of Development at The Long Now Foundation, a nonprofit organization in San Francisco fostering long-term thinking in the framework of the next (and last) 10,000 years. Projects include a 10,000-year clock, a long-term archive of human language, a lecture series, a cocktail bar, a global membership program, and much more. The Long Now Foundation aims to provide a home for exemplary long-term thinking and a counterforce to the ever-accelerating culture of right here, right now.
