Sharolyn Wynter is the founder and CEO of Xpat, Inc. and creator of The Xpat App, which connects the global Black community that works, studies, and lives abroad. With more than 20k members representing over 160 countries and territories, the app is home to the world's largest global directory of Black expats, nomads, and study abroad students.
Equipped with insights from her global experience, Sharolyn also serves as an Executive Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Advisor — supporting, leading, and advocating for DEI efforts across the globe. Her portfolio of clients ranges from global fellowship programs to pre-seed startups and Fortune 500 companies.
In both her capacity as an entrepreneur and as a DEI advisor, Sharolyn is on a mission to improve the social mobility and overall well-being of underrepresented and underserved communities through international experiences.
Originally from Detroit, the Spelman College graduate currently resides in Lisbon, Portugal where she devotes her time to growing the Xpat community, exploring new cultures, and investing in passion projects.
