Stacey M. Lake has been in the legal industry for over 12 years working primarily with small to medium sized firms, specializing in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate Law and Family Law.
With a passion for law and innovation, she created Lawfecta, a virtual Paralegal and Legal Secretary support firm with over 15 employees offering remote services to Attorneys and Law Firms. Lawfecta has put her at the forefront of issues affecting Legal Professionals in the technology realm, and she is focused on providing groundbreaking, value-driven solutions to continue growing the practice of law.
Driven by her beliefs in technological innovation she further created The Modern Paralegal, a consultant and marketing firm tailored to Paralegals and other legal professionals whom are looking to start a career as a freelance or independent worker. She helps clients with an entrepreneurial spirit get the leverage they need in the marketplace, and connect with audiences through intelligent design and marketing.
She qualifies as a Paralegal under California Business & Professions Code §6450.
She is also a registered California Legal Document Assistant in San Bernardino County offering assistance to the general public. She is the President and Board of Director for ICAP (Inland Counties Association of Paralegals), a member of NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants), CALDA (California Legal Document Assistants) and LAPA (Los Angeles Paralegal Association).
