Stowe’s calling is the ecology of work and the anthropology of the future. He is the managing director of Work Futures, a research group. Stowe coined the terms ‘hashtag’, ‘work management’, and 'social tools’’, and has spoken at dozens of conferences, including Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0, GigaOM Net:Work, Reboot, Next, Mesh, Shift, Lift, SIBOS, Defrag, SxSW, SocialNow, PR360, Digital Workplace Experience, Vivatech, and various TEDx events.
